Not worth the money

I dont feel at this point that the app is worth the money I paid for it. It has way too many errors. I have paid a lot less for better made, better organized apps. The recipes look good, but a lot of them are repeats. They show up twice in the list, so Im not sure how many their actually are. The recipes need to be edited and clarified. Some of them are hard to understand if you are new to cooking vegan. Some of them are hard to understand period because they are vague about the preparation. The reason I say they need to be edited is because in some of them I noticed it would give an ingredient, but not the amount. Also, in the "more" section there are only adverts for other apps. For the money I paid, I think there should be something else. Like a way to add you own recipes, an ingredients dictionary with pictures, a shopping list, a way to add your own ingredients, etc., etc., etc. If Im paying that much for an app, it would be nice get rid of the adverts all together. Oh, I didnt see any green smoothie recipes or juice recipes. Including some of those would be nice, too. The free version is a lot better than the full version. Thanks! I hope the creators of the app read these reviews. It would nice to these suggestions in an update sometime in the near future :)

Im Paid For This?!

300 recipes? If Im paying for this you need more than 300 recipes.

Do Not Buy this App

Crashes every other time I open it. Can only pull up about 22 recipes - even with the filter off. The Breakfast filter brings up dessert items. The "favorite item" star doesnt do anything when you click it. And even if it did all work, there is no function to save ingredients to a shopping list. A total failure and waste of two bucks. Update: Everytime I open the app, I notice that there are fewer recipes. Im down to 13 now and I cant find the cocoa mole recipe that was there when I first got the app. Very upset.

Lacking recipes

Like the new features, however I am dissatisfied about losing the older recipes. Needs more recipes.

*So Amazing* I love it

I love that its user friendly, it lets me choose what meal I want and how long I have to make it. The best is the grocery list as Im in the store I can delete it off my list as I go. Best money spent on an app :D I love how it doesnt shove you into it, they inform you and encourage you to go slow as you want.

Great app.

The food is great!

I love this app❤️❤️❤️

It really help me to keep track of my raw days and keeps me motivated it. I would give it a 5 star if it had part in which I could record my progress to complement the calendar. Go Raw! ❤️❤️❤️❤️

Raw food

Love this app . Never tried this type of eating before and am wading into it gradually. This makes it easy. So far everything has been great.

Easy to use

Nice app. Easy layout and shopping list is very helpful. 5 stars

love it

I absolutely love this app

Useful

Im not raw but Im stiving to be. This is a great app to have on hand for meal/snack inspiration. My issue is when I save recipes, theyre not saved when I get back to the app at a later time. I have the paid version too. Also, I agree with a previous review about tracking results and a meal planning component would be fantastic to ease my constant question of: am I eating enough of the right foods? Can I combine these two? Cheers!

Unlisted ingredients; cooked food

The main problem with this app is that not all ingredients of the recipes are listed. Sometimes you can tell because in the recipes instructions it mentions items that were not on the ingredient list. Other times, even the recipes title ingredient is left off the list! I upgraded to the paid version of this app in hopes that this would no longer be an issue, but no such luck. The app is other downfall is that many of the recipes are not raw! The cooked ingredients are justified by saying that "it is a special occasion" or that "it is okay because the cooked ingredients comprise only 25% of the recipe." (It is not clear whether that is 25% of the calories or of the volume of the recipe.) Many serious rawists would consider other recipes unsuitable as well, as many of them contain highly processed, packaged ingredients, and/or have a high-fat content. Heres the thing. I dont think any of us have such a difficult time finding recipes that feature cooked ingredients, that we need to include them in an app that is supposed to be about raw food. If you are new to raw foods, or just want to incorporate more uncooked fruits and veggies into your diet, you may be fine with this; I myself would prefer only raw recipes in my raw food app. Either way, save the 1.99 for an app that tells you what ingredients you are expected to use in the recipes.

Excellent

Ive been looking to broaden my scope with a more raw diet. Im currently a Demi-vegetarian. I eat about 80% vegetarian and 20% seafood. This opens up another aspect of health for me. Im intrigued and want to learn more. This is an excellent beginning.

Keeps crashing

This app will not open on my ipad. It keeps crashing.. Please fix it. I paid money for this!!!

Eating Raw

I have been Eating Raw for three months. I love this App. I love being able to ck off another day completed. This App has so much great info that confirms what Im doing is the right thing for me

Missing Ingredients

Handy reference but there are missing ingredients and one recipe preparation directions are for a different dish. Ive worked around a few programming errors by emailing the recipe to see whats omitted from the app but there is no work around the issue of directions for the wrong dish.

Could be good

I like the recipes, however there is no recipe box to save them in. Highlighting the star doesnt do anything other than flag me that I might or do like the recipe. The number of recipes are limited as well (I have the paid version!. More importantly, this app is not for a novice, which I am. It does not give any hints as to what to eat to get a balanced diet. You have to be well educated in your nutrition needs to figure out how to eat these foods and still get all the nutrients you need. All of that being said, many if the recipes do look good and I will give some of them a try.

Good recipes

I do not eat raw, but found the recipes tasty and diverse. Nice pictures too.

Well...

Would really like to say I am thrilled with the app, and for the most part I am. However, there are some recipes with longer ingredient lists that are cut off and you cant swipe to read the hidden part. You can bypass that issue by creating a shopping list and reviewing it there, but thats rather bothersome when I would like to decide ahead of time if the recipe is something I would like. Second, the recipes arent organized. But there is a little funnel icon in the upper right corner where they can be filtered. Ok I guess, but rather silly. Just organize them first and then allow filtering for prep time, favorites, etc. Third, the shopping list doesnt combine ingredients (ie. you save 2 recipes with common ingredients), isnt sortable, and you cant copy, upload it or even check off the ingredients while you shop. The recipes look amazing, and cant wait to try them. For that, its a great app. Just not exactly what you would expect from a "pro" version of the app.
